Hilton Head Plantation has several property owners location with one being Dolphin Head Recreation Area. This area is on the sound and has a beach which I refer to as a walking beach. It is very peaceful gorgeous you can swim in this area but it is the sound and the current is stronger and the bottom is not sandy like the beach. However Hilton Head Island does have many public and property owner beach parks on the ocean.
The difference in a Regime Fee and a POA Fee (Property Owners Association) is a: Regime Fee is paid monthly and usually includes cost like insurance, trash pickup, pest control, outside maintenance etc. Regime Fees are usually associated with condos/villas. A POA Fee is paid yearly and includes cost like road maintenance, security, landscaping, and property owners’ common areas. If a condo/villa is located in a private community like Hilton Head Plantation it will have both a Regime Fee and POA Fee. It is prorated if you purchase your home later in the year.
